Down Again

To start things off yesterday was HELL!!

Went down to check on the rabbits like normal and Mr Spice still hadnt ate or drank at all. So other than the syringe feeding hes not had anything on his own accord so I rang the vets and we rushed him over there.

We got into the vets and as I predicted, his teeth had overgrown again. Sadly Mr Spice has deformed teeth and he refuses to eat hay so his teeth grown up into his head and around his cheeks. As a result he was in agony and went off his food. He needed emergency surgery. We were waiting around the vets for 7 hours because I didnt want to leave him. With him being 7, there was an 80% chance he wouldnt make it. Thankfully though, he did and he is now back home with us and is an gorgeous as ever!!

Today how ever has just dragged me down that little bit more.

On Saturday we handed out the last of our wedding invites, and lets just say, a fair few people are not impressed at all. Not just because they arnt invited to the ceremony, but because our dads wont be walking us down the aisle, no one is wedding dress shopping with us (as my other half is making her dress) and they have to pay for the evening meal.

Weve literally had non stop hell about how we are doing it.

Today, I dropped my other half off at work, and as soon as I got home her parents near on cornered me and interigated me for why we are doing the wedding the way we are. I told them that the day is about us and we cant afford a big do, to which I couldnt cope with anyway.

It seems like know one is happy for us. From word go, the day we starting seeing each other, someone has had a comment to say...and not nice comments either.

I just dont get it. We r happy, why cant people be happy for us!?

Really!?

For me today has been reasonably ok. Ive literally only been able to get out of bed twice though literally today. On the second occasion i collapsed also which was a gutting blow.

Myself and my partner had a great zebra baby grow arrive today for our future child. Its blinking lush. Yes you may say but your not pregnant, but for us, because we cant work, our theory is if we start buying things gradually over the months, our baby will have everything they need and deserve and can have the best start in life.

I also had my birthday present arrive. My DIY 35mm slr camera.

After just under 2 hours, I had completed the challenge of my big build and it absolutly shattered me...I ended up falling asleep for an hour and a half afterwards just to recover but im pleased with the end result. Now just to get 35mm film.
In other news though my lady has had terrible period pains. Ok i suffer from other sorts of pains but ive been lucky in the sense ive never had period pains. She was in tears and i had no idea what to do to help her other than drug her up on pain releif. She ended up curled up next to me with a hot water bottle and thankfully a few hours later everything had settled down again. God knows what shes going to be like during labour if this was painful for her though ha. Ive gotta try and get my arse out of bed tomorrow though as Dixie has the vets so untill tomorrow... Busy Or Relaxed!?

Tonight title kind of explains it all really. The day started off relaxed because we had to wait in as a parcel was meant to be being delivered. As you can tell it didnt happen. Once we had established it wasnt being delivered, it was now lunvh time so we quickly took Dixie around the feild. We could however only walk her around once because I was really struggling to breath because of the crap air quality. My other half then sorted out our dinner like usual whilst I went and done my nebulizers in the hope it would sort my lungs, which thankfully, although it didnt fix them, I could atleast take a deeper breath. Straight after dinner, we had to take our middle aged of the three rabbits (Gizmo) to the vets as he was due a health check and his boost vaccine. As I predicted he is very we, has good teeth abd is well looked after, we are feeding him the right stuff and give him plenty of exercise because hes not fat.yay. atleast we are doing that right. After the vets, we had a sneaky visit to costa for some girlfriend time. We dont often get to have this anymore because of me and feeling like crap, but as costa was right next door to pets at home where the vets was, we decided it was a prime opportunity. When we got home, we got dixie back to the feild as its only fair she doesnt miss out just because of crappy air quality. To relax after this me and my other half had potted our two roses that we have been growing and maturing in our bedroom for the last year. Dont worry, theyre not rose trees. Just miniture steam roses so are no bigger than the average size hand. We dont live in a mansion and have a huge room for catering for this ha. Finally this evening, because im in agony with my hip, we came upstairs at 1800 and decided to watch the hunger games (number two). We both absolutly love it and figured it was a good long film to chill to. During the beginnings of the film, I was updating my certificate folder with 6 new photography certificates, and I also updated my portfolio with 6 new photos. Here is one of the pages for my portfolio:
2 other photos arrived today after I done an online print out from asda. These were one of Dixie and one of me and m y girlfriend. The reason I printed these are because they are for my nan. She lives in Manchester which is just over 600 miles away from me so see her very rarely and whilst I was chatting to her on the phone this week she was asking about us all so I thought it would b a lovely suprise to recieve a few photos to update her. Thats all for now. TTFN XXXX

Vets, Pain and Feeling sad.

This morning was a blinking early start but sadly it had to be done. Our little girlie Dixie had to go to vets for her third lot of injections and also to be micro chipped. I was already worried about the pain it would cause her because of when I went with mum when she had a puppy. My partners mum went in with the nurse first and came out as if nothing happened so I guessed it may not be as bad now a days. In we both go with our pooch being optimistic about it all. First up was the injection, the needle itself didnt actually hurt her but the fluid did when it was going in. She wimpered and shuffled across the table to us both. We just looked at each other feeling helpless. Next up was the microchip. Looking at the needle, to me it just looked like an average size needle that I get stuck in me when I go into hospital. Again, the needle didnt hurt Dixie, but when they slid in the chip she yelled...and everyone in the pets at home store heard her aswell. We both looked at each other again, gave her lots if hugs and attention, and gave her the treat we braught with us. She bled a lot, which we are also super suprised by. The good thing is, that she does need any more needles being stabbed into her untill next year, and as of today she is now allowed on walks in the public. We are excited about going to the beach, this is great as shes a huge digger so will be right in her element and also gets to go in the sea. After our big ordeal at the vets, we decided that taking her for a walk this affternoon would be to much, so we settled down and watched a film. Myself and the other half snuggled on the sofa like the goid old days, these moments remind me just how much I love her. On the other hand, there are still massive issue with her mum and her attitude. She always has to be right, even though shes blatently wrong. She is insiting on cooking first every meal time which is also pissing us off. I change my nebs to 1730 because she would always cook from around 1800 -1830. Which generally meant we were having to eat stupidly late which wasnt helping our weightloss. But low and behold, the minute we change our arrangements, she changes hers, uses every pan we were going to use and then doesnt clean it up, so we are delayed even more. Like tonight, she cooked, then we had to, and whilst we were finishing off, she barged into the kitchen and started doing her pudding. Bearing in mind, the kitchen is bloody tiny and theres no room to swing a cat, let alone have three peaople cooking whilst also juggling 2 puppies. She then gets pissy at my other half about simple things like not scratching her mums bad on demand and also not looking after her pup whilst she has her pudding...even though weve not even started our tea. Everything else in life is plodding on...but bloody hell, her mum is doing my freaking head in, and I fear the stress may actually make it extremely hard for us to get pregnant. Oh well, only time will tell. TTFN XXXX
